A Golden Opportunity

We visited Abanindranath Tagore’s farmhouse this afternoon. The serene atmosphere, the tranquil river, the paintings etc.—all created the Paradise on the earth. It was an excellent experience altogether. Moreover, it was a perfect spot to uplift my mood for poetic composition. Manifold people were thrilled to compose a number of creative pieces right there in the lap of Nature. The farmhouse was full of ethereal bliss as if I was dreaming and soaring in the sky. Right then, I got wonder-struck that it was a real feeling actually. The spot bears the witness of the Indian legend. Such a dear delight is indeed required in our humdrum daily life. I captured a few photos at that spot that would gift me an identical experience with Nature through and through, whenever I take a glance at them.
I learnt a plethora of lessons there as well. It felt as if Nature was whispering into my ear holes constantly, “Life is full of twists and turns. Nothing can be bitter, provided we ourselves stay transparent and honest. Well, that does not necessarily mean that life is full of joys alone. Weal and woe rotate in a cyclic order. What matters the most is nothing other than our positive will force as well as our positive energy.” I resolved, “Let’s stay positive and enjoy life to our hearts’ content. The time is running out slowly but surely.”
There I met a number of little children. We all know that the kids are the most beautiful flowers, sometimes, excelling the natural blossoms in some way or the other. Such purity and pristine quality are the burning needs of the day. As we see, nowadays, the human values are getting worn away day by day. Still, an innocent smile has tremendous power to make us feel, at least, a little good from the bottom of our hearts. Based on such a standpoint, a great number of poems had been penned down from a personal point of view. Yes, an innocent smile can help us get rid of a thousand worries.
And what about Nature? Well, she is not only an educator but also a mother. I came to her in close contact and felt very deeply that a mother’s love is the most precious and the most powerful love ever. We commit mistakes, we make blunders; but a mother embraces all her children, regardless of anything. How wonderful! Truly so, isn’t it?
Nature reminds me of my mother who loves me the most in every walk of her life, and I am the sole world of hers. Well, who else in flesh and blood can love us more? The mothers sacrifice everything for us, and, what is more, with a smile. A mother does sacrifice her dreams, her desires, her likes, her dislikes and everything just to see the smiling faces of her child or her children. However, sometimes, she gets indignant indeed, but that is just to discipline her children, to perfect them, for sure. Our mother loves us the most; she has to be indignant to correct our errors. Well, that, too, is a product of her love, of her heart, isn’t it?
So, broadly speaking, Nature is our common mother; she loves us, she trains us, and sometimes she disciplines us to correct even our smallest errors. Just like a mother, she, too, has the right, she, too, has the affection to teach us life’s lessons. We are brought back to the right track of virtue with her merciful malignance.
Anyway, what does it mean having had such an astonishing expedition to the farmhouse then? If I answer by saying “Everything”, it will become too cliched. Nevertheless, it was a chance of my lifetime, a golden opportunity, no doubt. And you know what? I will always remain this much eager to revisit the place of wonder and magic. Nevertheless, not to be selfish, each and every one is invited to put a step on the pathway of such a place suffused with such colossal magic.
